Cold Winter Part I

A cold winter’s night drifted slowly through the city of angels, a foreboding mist swept from door to door. A faceless government could be heard echoing on the TVs through every window, a siren ran through the streets alerting each and every member of the town of the forsaken future that was upon them.

In the years leading up, a civil unrest stirred from country to country creating unease within the geo-political landscape. A futile fight for what remained broke out. A natural resources war was consuming the planet. Eventually, one superpower “The Allegiance” consisting of North Korea, Russia & China decided the world needed to start over, and on October 14th of 2121, The Allegiance launched 15 Nuclear Weapons on key metropolitan areas…

“People of Los Angeles, we are under attack, take refuge in the closest bomb shelter, hold friends, family and strangers close, this may be our last transmission, this is Chris Cambotrov with The Network, if this recording is ever found, the year is 2121, good luck my fellow humans & good night.”

This message rang on all televisions from Los Angeles to New York to London to Cape Town and Tokyo. A fierce war between the United World & The Allegiance had come to a doming end. A nuclear strike was heading for all major cities in the world, with no way of stopping it, a day of reckoning was upon the world and the fears that Oppenheimer had from so long ago was upon the human race.
